RP Energy Fund (RPEF) is a Mauritius-based Variable Capital Company (VCC), licensed by the Financial Services Commission of Mauritius under License No. GB24203652, with the composite CIS Manager License No. GB24203646 under RP Energy Limited. With a target fund size of USD 30 billion, RPEF is dedicated to driving impactful energy solutions across Africa and addressing the continent’s persistent energy supply chain gaps. The fund leverages Africa’s abundant natural energy resources—including hydrocarbons, biofuels, solar, wind, and other sustainable energy sources—to foster innovation, sustainability, and resilience in the energy sector.

RPEF is domiciled in Mauritius, with its administrative office in South Africa. As part of its strategic growth, the fund plans to establish feeder points in key global financial hubs, including Dubai, Singapore, Delaware, and Luxembourg, enhancing its reach and influence across international energy funding markets.

The fund operates through three specialized sub-funds, each targeting a critical area within the energy sector: RP Energy Development Fund Sub-Fund 1 (RPEF-SF1); RP Energy Midstream Infrastructure Sub-Fund 2 (RPEF-SF2); and RP Trade Finance Sub-Fund 3 (RPEF SF3). Motivated by the vast potential of Africa’s energy resources, RPEF is committed to fostering sustainable energy solutions, bridging supply chain gaps, and supporting the continent’s transition to a more resilient and efficient energy future.
